Dude,had the same problem within techno. Turned out to be that I had forgotten to remove safe mode under options. Try unchecking it(should be visible in preformance tab ) uncheck safe mode & overclock,apply,then restart software & try again ;)

Whatever happened to beatmatching by ear. Using the pitch faders and nudging platters to keep on beat?? I have never had a problem with this method for vinyl to CDs to DVS. This process works. I use the BPM counters as a starting point not the end all/be all.

I will say I could always find the sweet spot on the pitch sliders with 90% of the songs on turntables, Cdjs and could walk away and still be mixing perfectly after a minute or 2. With the newer version (after ver 4) of vdj I constantly have to use the nudge buttons for most songs, even if I sync or set by ear, set by bpm. This happens with house, hop hop. I'm just waiting for vdj 8s new soound engine and also that intermittent but dreaded sound dragging, where all the music sounds 2% slower. I've been djing for 17 years and it's not me.
