Hi i am desparate to get a timecoded vinyl set up but i am struggling as i have looked into it and there are so many different ways people are doing it that i am confused. I would like to do it with out spending to much money and i have looked at getting one of the esi maya44 soundcards. But now i realise i have to have phono preamps in between my turntables and the soundcard. (Is This True) If so where can i buy them from as i have looked around and there is loads of them and i dont know what to get. Once i have got the above correct is it true that all i need to do then is buy the timecode vinyl then just configue virtual dj to work it all.
Some help would be very gratefull

Its hard to give accurate advise on this subject as setups varie quite a bit. Im currently using TCV without any Phono Amps between. Utilize the PC volume property of the sound card to full and you should be fine. If how ever tho you feel for your setup you need the phono amps do get them.

get a good pair tts like numark ttxs and a good mixer, the maya should help and of course u need the vdj pro version, then there are set up instruction guides here/..
