Can someone tell me can vdj play music on one deck and video on the other deck and let me record the music and video together as one new video? The reason I am asking I have a video of my kids and I want to add music to it.

anything is possible.... but that is kinda far out for VDJ
pretty sure that it may be possible if... examined.. and probably using 4 decks
not sure if you would want the hassle of doing that...
what you are want to be done may be better served using an editing program such as
Sony Vegas (currently at version 8)

It's true that you can record a movie in VDJ, but this function is not working good in current mode.
I agree with digitalwiz that for this purpose a video edit program is a much better way to do it. Sony Vegas is a quite easy program to use.. And I don't think it so expensive. Use Google to find any other edit prog if you don't like vegas... :)
