Topic: Denon DN 1200 - Midi Controller/CD/USB

Anyone with this bad boy.... in their setup.. could you let me know how it works for you
Seems to be an all round safe bet.. as a controller, and if your comp decides to start acting up

How is the response with VDJ.. etc

The response with Virtual DJ is super. It's still natively only support one player with everything lit up, but I created a cutom mapper with no button litghts working but have both decks working like a charm.
 
I have this setup. Check out my blog profile for photos. I also posted in the Denon forums and Virtual Dj forums how to config with VDJ. The setup so far works flawlessly and you can even config your own midi shortcuts thanks to an xml file posted by someone else on the VDJ downloads. I highly recommend this setup.

The denon DN 1200 carries it's own sound card right???
The mixer is it midi?...

If there is no break through with the vestax - 300 with vdj.. then i guess i may have to go with the CDJ-400 or the denons
Seems that the denons are recommended over the CDJs I think?

If nothing happens for the vestax-300 then i guess this is where i may have to go

I wonder why.. only one is natively supported????
 
One might be NATIVELY supported for now, but with the xml download that is in the downloads sections, you CAN use both Denon's to control VDJ with no problem.

I want to connect the denon 1200 to the pc and use the NUMARK DJ|iO as the soundcard.

The reason i want to do this is so i can switch from cd to usb without the program crashing. Can anyone gguide me on how to do this.
