Kill switches for Mid, Bass and Highs = nice
But where is the MIDI !!! :(
I dont understand why anyone would consider making a new mixer and not allow us to map the crossfader or anything else to VDJ or whatever else anyone would use.

Sorry but this question is for Numark, not VDJ. You should ask it of them.

Maybe it should be restated then, because VDJ can have influence on this or even consider making hardware. This isnt something that is only Numarks doing. Even if this one did have USB/Midi capability, Numark isnt as good as Pioneer or Rane, etc..
I change my statement to the following:
Why are there no decent 2/3 channel mixers out there that will map faders etc to VDJ? The Rane TTL 57SL is in my opinion almost perfection and it works directly with SSL.
VDJ, though I love the program, has no mixers that just plain plug in and work. I understand the Pioneer DJM800 can be MIDI mapped and such, but thats after much effort, but thats also a big huge mixer and its $1400. Its nothing close to being a plug and play ordeal. Most controllers that are, like that Hercules thingie i have (See my icon list) are "OK" but always lacking something in the quality department. I have no problem paying $900-1000 for a decent battle style mixer if it has the functions of the Rane.

honestly there is a reason you pay that much for the rane.... just like the vci-300 and ultitmatly the ns7 to make a dedicated software/controller takes development from both teams. the price of such developments raises the price of the controller
