Topic: Questions about using older version
Hi folks,

I'm afraid the update to MyLists and .vdjfolder instead of .m3u has interrupted a valuable function of mine.

I use VDJ as a music video playout tool (I know, but it's the best option for my implementation), I wrote a program that would rotate all the .m3u's every 24 hours so that every playlist always played in a different order, really useful and a strong feature.

What are the realities of staying with 2023 and never upgrading? Or are there workarounds to continue using .m3u's with 2024?

Thanks,
Mike

m3u is still supported, so you don't have to change anything.
If you used the VirtualDJ\Playlists folder, that is not visible by default anymore, but you could create a shortcut to it, or save the playlists in a different location.

Thank you , I did suss that *.m3u still worked but not from the /playlists folder, so are you saying that any other folder will perform the same function?

Thanks
