I'm using VDJ 5.2 on my Laptop with XP Installed. I recently changed from my favorite skin (Pioneer 700) to a new skin MIX Station SV 03 which I have never used before, and now when I click on the Options button to switch back to another skin it's impossible, nothing happens when you click on the options (Config) button. All the other buttons work fine, ie Music, Samples, etc.
I deleted the Skin from the folder and made a backup copy in another folder. When I restarted VDJ I get an error ( Invalid Skin File Error Line % in the XML) I even tried renaming one of the default skin to the one I'm having problem with and I get the same error. If there is an error with one of the skins that is in current use, should VDJ revert back to the original default skin? How can this be fixed? Thanks in advance

should anybody come across this, here's the fix:
1. open: regedit
2. go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VirtualDJ
3. find on the right-hand side: Skin
4. double-click Skin to modify the string
5. delete the string value data to blank (it's easier than it sounds) and press ok
this will revert the skin back to default (or at least, it does on this copy of virtual dj)
you may want to back up the Skin value. your choice.

A much easier method is to simply re-installing VirtualDJ and it will revert back to the default skin. Editing the registry is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Super simple.
All you have to do is close vdj. Then go into my documents, virtual dj, skins, locate mixstation sv 03, delete it. Then open virtual dj again. If you want to keep it just copy the skin somewhere. you can even restore it from your recycle bin if you haven't already gotten rid of it. Now don't open it again thinking that it will be different the next time.
