Is there a diffrence between 5.2 and 5.2.1 eg is 5.2.1 the later version.
If it still told you how many times you had downloaded it in the download centre then I would know! eg if it had a zero next to it I would know that it was a new version. Iv'e been into my VDJ program and clicked info and it says 5.2 not 5.2.1
Can anyone clear this up.

5.2.1 was only really a update for 2 or 3 of the controllers, including the RMX, which I can say it's all good now.
It's solid for me.

5.2.1 is an upgrade, it sucks already,it was an attempt to correct platter sensitivity in scratch mode for denon dn 5500 midi controller.now they made it less sensitive,so u could in a club mixing if you try to "wheel back" as an effect you have a delay.with vdj would stop focussing on fanciness like having cd cover displays when mixing and retooling a fully functional software that can give a club dj confidence in a club.i love the software but i play with my fingers crossed.the new video record is not even functional.so i would rather they focus on functionality and not fancy stuff like read itunes and serato crates, these are things when u in a serious gig u dnt have time to stare at cd covers.unless u mixx in a lounge

5.2.1 has done the business for me, much much happier with the rmx now

Did you download the new driver for herc also?

yep, you should update all hercules drivers if you haven't already done so, with those and the new 5.2.1 you should be good to go.

For me the RMX seems to respond alot quicker with this new version aswell.

Is there a way to auto-clear the songs played in the side list?

Thank god for that, another thing though I noticed is that the sound breaks up when you take the gain over the half way point even if it's by a millimetre over half way.
Not tryed since new downloads.

you will be pleased then, you should have total confidence now in the gain controls.

I have no clue what you are talking about. The latency on my 5500 with 5.2.1 is amazing. It works perfect with scratching or anything else.

the rmx responce & feel is very tight with 5.2.1, huge improvemnt there, i am just so frustrated that the looping is different, i don't understand why it was changed. is there any way you can map the buttons on the rmx to perform set loops 1,2,4 etc...
