lol ;) 5.1 was just released...

And pretty sure there will be some 5.2 or something before any 6.0 comes out :)

But each new main release have lots of good new stuff, so no need to worry ;) Good things comes to those who waits
 
you need to purchase 5.1 to find that out


 

When 7 is ready you'll get 6, oops this guys got me all at sixes and sevens.
 
my only question is, will the new VDJ include Denon 5500 natively in the set up.. Norway throw me a life my brother... i think i deserve one
 
yeah, I'm extremely sorry about that one.. (Even though it was Denon who said it would be....).
But I trust Denon when they said Dev Team is working on it, and why it wasnt made into this version is probably because of late delivery of unit from Denon, and that the mapping wasnt finished in time..

It will come, no worries.. :)


There are sooooo many controllers, so at times, the native support might not come as quick as hoped.
 

So many controllers, yet VDJ supports more than any other program.

I have one question.Where can I buy Virtual DJ(Home or Pro)in Hungary?(I have just Numark CUE in Hungarian Dj shop websites found)
P.S.:Sorry for my English,I'm a Hungarian. XD
 
VirtualDJ home edition in shops is sold by Numark, and called Numark CUE LE (with controllers).. So the version you have seen is same as VirtualDJ home edition or pro edition (VirtuallDJ is currently not available in shops.).

Another solution would be maybe to get the Hercules RMX if you also need a controller, where you get a special version of Virtual DJ (very close to Home Editon) for free...

Numark Cue LE = VirtualDJ home edition (in shops)
Numark CUE = Virtual DJ pro edition (in shops)

If you buy VirtualDJ pro (recommended) online, you will have it in 5 minutes ;)

IMO Cue's skin looks better than VirtaulDJ's default skin.

5.1 has just been released, Cue owners or still on 5rev7, but there update will follow soon.

Where is your Problem ? I the Moment the newest Version is 5.10.

Bye the way.... The old releases official was called 5.0 rev.7 (rev is short form of REVISION).

A lot of people are having problems knowing were they are in terms of revs and what the current version is!

5.07 can be missunderstood as 5.7 and then they learn that 5.1 has come out and are totally lost, can you address this?

I suggest that you just go up a digit every rev or new version eg 5.1 5.2 etc forget about the zero eg 5.01
 
There is a very specific convention on numbering upgrades tha is ususlly followed, depending on the type of upgrade and the amount of revision being done. I'm sure there is a website somewhere explaining the typically used method.

I do believe, however, that 5.0 went under minor revisions(mostly the most common quick bug fixes) as they came up, while they had announced that some newer modifications were being made and would, and have been, included in 5.1 . They went from 5.0, made a few revisions, then jumped to 5.1, which contained a few major modifications and additions.
 
6.0 has cybernetic search mode and polymimetic skin system amongst it's most interesting enhancements , not to mention , all video output has been upgraded to 3d holographic .....
