Hi everyone. I'm new to the Virtual DJ community - so hello to everyone, it's nice to be here.
I looked through the forums to see if I could find a solution, but I wasn't able to find one - I hope you guys can help out.
I'm running Virtual Vinyl 5 (r6) on my Vista laptop (2gb.) I am using the Numark Virtual Vinyl box to connect my computer, decks (Numark TTX1s) and mixer together. I am uising the supplied Virtual Vinyl control vinyls (NS-01.)
Everything seems to work perfectly apart from one thing. I can't get the needle-drop functionality to work. I noticed that when I go into the timecode auto-config menu, the Time Code Quality reads a constant 0% although I can visually see a signal wave (nearly reaches the blue bars).
From reading around, I'm pretty sure that the Time Code Quality signal is the reason why I can't needle drop.
I am using the "smart" setting and have latency levels set to zero.
EDIT: I don't think I have a feedback/grounding issue. I believe that these TTX1s don't need a ground (?)
I was hoping that someone would be able to help?
Thank you in advance!

Wow, apparently I really am silly.
Under my TTX1s, I can set the output of the deck from phone to line. Looks like I had my output from the deck set to Line and the input on the Virtual Vinyl box set to Phono.
I changed the deck output to phono and all is working fine now - 100% signal and needle dropping works perfectly!

I had the same problem, same fix. HOWEVER I have noticed slight fluctuations in the pitch occasionally in VDJ even though I've had my TTX1s professionally calibrated. They play vinyl just fine with no pitch fluctuations but like I said sometimes when using the same Time Coded vinyls you have the problem comes up. It's not bad and can easily be fixed with the sync button however it can get annoying. I didn't know if anyone had any of the same problems.
It's been suggested to me that my power source doesnt quite have enough power to run the tables and all my other equipment with out an occasional lag in the turn tables. Let me know if you have any thoughts.
Cheers
