Topic: Search By BPM.... How?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Ok guys, I've had several people tell me we can search by BPM...

How? It just doesn't seem to work for me...

let's say I'm mixing a nice 117.something set, and I draw a blank... I'm wondering what else I could throw in there to do something I don't play every damn night...

How can i search for a range, say 115-120?

or just all of the 117.xx range?

is this even possible?

I can't seem to make it happen...

Thanks in advance gents!

hi steve

dont know if you have done this bit yet but near the search bar there looks like two bullseyes, chose the one on the left and open it and select files you want to search by and it should be good to go...

Tayla

I did that.....

yes if I search for say... 120... all I get is 120...

and only a hand full...

how do I search a range?

Try 120-125 ;-)

And make sure you have bpm included in search (tick the bpm option)

Tayla seems to have it right :]

you can also try to rearrange your your music list based on the bpm list
what you have to do is, in the folderview, on top of your music list, just click on the bpm button.
and then just scroll down to the range your looking for and there you go.
thats what i do
