Topic: How do I default to time remaining instead of time elapsed?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I use ver 5.0.2.

How can I set up VDJ so it defaults to 'time remaining' for each song?

I know if I can double click on the task bar to get to it, but I would love to have it remain at 'time remaining' always.

Thanx,

JK

Normally you hit the button next to the player where it says "time ".
You have to set this just once.
Next time you start vdj it remebers this.

It's that simple? Wow. Thanks. Will try it tonite...

Might not be as simple as that, but might be wrong..

If I'm wrong, you need to change the skin XML to start with remain time, instead of elapsed...

sirslick

the quickest way i do it is just click on time elasped and it will transform to time remain and will stay like that until you close vdj, bit of a task everytime you load vdj mind you...lol

Tayla> I was thinking the same thing. I personally don't have time to do another click / click.... is there keystroke that can be done - oh shoot, that would take the same amount of effort. LOL

One can change the skin XML to show "remain time" as default ;)

I have the Denon Ispire skin and for me it works when I click only once on the time button.
When I restart vdj it stays on time remaining.

DJ in Norway, how do I change the skin XML to show "remain time" as my default?

The original V-Mix skin has both, the time remaining and total time of song. Also it will display comments. This is a feature I wish would be implemented in the newer skins.

Agreed!
