You need to download the free timecode CD, and burn it as audio file ,
http://dev.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/VDJTimeCode.mp3
Then you need to connect each of your cd players to a line in on one soundcard, so that soundcard needs two line-ins.
(or one, if you intend to use only one cd-player)
And in VDJ you then set up timecode CD as input in soundcard settings, and the output you want

That also applies to any CD player ?? Like a numark CDX etc...

applies to any cd-player, but you will be limited to the functions the cd player has.
So if its a non scratch cd player, you cant scratch on the cd players, of course :)
But pitch, nudge, cue, play, stop, loop etc works :)

I have a Vinyl AC'97 Audio onboard chipset for audio and this is what I got when I try to use the timecoded function:

Can you tell me if this chip is compatible with the timecoded system? If it is what I have to do to make it work?
Thanks in advance,
Greets.

you idealy need a asio card
but you can use the asio for all drivers
to make your card into an asio card
then choose
inputs : timecodes
outputs : basic
card : asio
driver : asio for all
hit asio preferences and enable your card
then press ok
then go into the configure timecode menu and hit autoconfigure

When I go to that link I get:
"To download this addon, you must buy Virtual DJ professional edition"

That's because you are a demo user. Plugins for advanced features can only be downloaded from those who bought a Professional Edition license.

I download this ASIO4ALL driver ( http://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/ASIO4ALL_2_7_English.exe )
And I did all the steps written in the post above but when I try to do the auto-config, I get this error message ( http://www.sobreira.net/asio.jpg ).
I'm using a Pioneer CDJ-200, and Virtual DJ recognizes the play and the cue of the player, but nothing more, and even when it recognizes the play the song doesn't start, only the play button becomes highlighted.
I would like some advice on this...
Thanks.
