what about like the "backspin" effect, turns it self off when finished the effect...

If I do this, as soon as the echo will be all out, the song will turn ON (without echo).
If you use it to end a song, this could be really wrong in your mix.
So I prefer stop it as soon as you load a new song, or stop it manually ;)
