Hi!
I have all my karaoke now in rar format. 90% of the time everything is stable.
The problem is when you load certain rar files to a drive VDJ shuts down - nearly instantly with no warning!! Then when you load it up again you have to scan your database in again. Most of the time it's ok and if you know what files are doing it you can avoid them.
The annoying thing is though I am running the same setup on my bedroom pc and it plays the files with no problems?? It's Ok avoiding the files that are causing the shut down but it could happen at any time halfway through a show if someone wants to sing a song that you have never tried loading up before....... You know how embarressing the "deadly silence" of a complete shut down is!! I also have other karaoke software on the pc's that runs these files with no problems...... but I ovcourse want to stick to the VDJ program.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
The program itself is excellent with mp3's - no problems there......
Thanks!
Rob

Are you using VDJ3.4?
I had loads of problems with 3.3 shutting down during a set so went back to 3.2 now all works fine. I can do a whole night's djing without it crashing. Havn't bothered installing 3.4 seeing as I have had so many problems with 3.3.
