Depends what music style you like. If you love your garage, hip-hop or dance then you are probably right. But there are many DJ's out there at the moment who are pioneering new techniques using laptops and samplers, etc.. to mix and remix on the fly. To name a few:
Dave Clarke,
Radioactive Man
Fischerspooner,
Soulwax.
Richard X
Andrew Wetherall.
They are all experimenting with new technologies. Vinyl will never die out for the purist, but to be honest real music enthusiats are getting bored of going out to a club and hearing the same tunes week in week out, all dictated by what Ministry of Sound says is a good tune.

Fair enough, Justin Robertson's "closer to the edit " is a fine piece of re-working shit! used final scratch to do that.

have a word with DJ homeboy and ask him if he will post it back on his site for a couple of days. Alternatively it will soon be up at www.nuwsc.co.uk/DJ. Or if you cant wait, try downloading it at kazaa search for soulwax, and ive either called it digital mayhem or natural selection.

Just type my name into the search and it should come up with my mix all split up into tracks for you. So just click on download containing folder.
The search should also come up with some nice little bootlegs.
Otherwise if you have an FTP client such as secureshell (SSH) I can get you a copy that way.

Ive been very inactive recently on this and the VJ forum, so appologies. Ive been very busy.
Anyway,
My mix and other origonal tracks and bootlegs are now all online.
