When playing thru pioneer gear directly, You can put your dj logo and config file so it shows up instead of the actual cover art.
For the time being I simply change cover art of all songs to my dj logo.
But as yet no such feature as controller "dj logo" is present in VDJ, I try to figure out a way to send always the same cover art in the mapper itself for all decks. But the documentation for get_pioneer_display 'cover' is sparse and I am not interested in the secret part, but actually how to force the input of it to be a specific song (that has the cover I want) or a specific file.
My point is, that I export my whole library from VDJ into USB thumb drive as recordbox export to have a backup to finish the night without computer. But VDJ rekordbox export stores covers as separate files so instead of 6 000 files they are actually double or triple.
I wish I could just remove all cover art from my id3 tags and force vdj to use just my logo or disable cover art for rekordbox export, as I already have USB drive configured with my dj logo.

I don't understand.
You want to make get_pioneer_display 'cover' to return a static image ?
Then that's not possible at the moment, nor it has any correlation with CDJ Export to "One Library"
Also most Pioneer controllers that I know, DO NOT support "DJ Logo" image.
Out of heart I can only think of DDJ-REV7, and if you set it up properly (via it's own panel) then "DJ Logo" works with VirtualDJ the same way it works with Serato or Rekordbox.
If you want to export your library to "One Library" format, then it's absolutely required by Pioneer / Alpha Theta that the program exports the covers of the media files if they exist.
You cannot change that either.
Finally AFAIK not even CDJ3000 and 3000X are supposed to show a "DJ Logo" image when used in control mode.

I have pioneer ddj-1000
and in the club I use cdj-3000 or cdj-2000nxs2
I achieved it by replacing all covers in tags with my dj logo.
works both with usb or via hid and displays my dj name on the jogwheel center display.
I understand that for recordbox exporting pioneer-get-display has no correlation.
I dont need covers for usb/direct hw mode, it displays the static logo just from that one file.
My goal is to dont need the same cover in all 6000 files when in VDJ mode and just send same image (if the device supports displaying cover art at all)
This way I could get rid of any covers in the file tags, so vdj export to onelibrary would export no images(as there is nothing in tag to export)
I can do it now by removing covers for all files before exporting to onelibrary and when export finishes add covers (basically just one cover for all files) back. over 900gb of video files.
And the “trick” with dj logo and player strtings for the one library thumbdrive I do from rekordbox.
