With a Pro Infinity license, (or Pro subscription) you just need to log into VDJ once, with the same credentials you use in this forum.
with the Options set as:
stayLoggedIn ....... Yes
dontLogin .............. No

open the Settings window and go to the Licenses tab, make sure you are logged with the same account that has your PRO license, and it will show PRO on the page.
If you still have problem connecting with your PRO license, contact support.

What about my Home Plus License I purchased again earlier this year? Does i have audio sample too?
Have they removed the Home Plus license? I have bought that license twice since i have had 2 different controllers. this update doesn't show the license anymore? I only play on my PC. So far I've invested $198 into this software since I've used it. If i can be credited that amount and be allowed to pay the difference for the Pro version I will. Love the software hands down. Just don't feel it's fair to pay an additional $299 for a pro after I've invested so much so far. Please help and clarify.

Your current Home Plus licenses will still work, and will not have the audio sample.

Just want to briefly say how impressive it is that Stephane and team are actively listening to feedback and have made further changes.
Honestly, despite it being the logical thing to do, not many companies are connected to their user base like this.

Yes, agreed. Listening to customer feedback and reacting especially as quickly as this is very rare these days.

I've read several of the forum messages on this new name drop for the free/home version. Here's the issue that I have with it:
1. It is not the fact that VirtualDJ decided to implement a watermark to enforce their EULA and require those who need to use the software for professional use to do so.
2. It is/was in the delivery. Normally, and up to this point, any updates have been seamless and things work perfectly. That is the hallmark of a quality software.
3. Put simply, I did an update and then went on live on the radio later that morning, complete unaware of the name drop. Embarrassing for me was the three times it blurted out, and I was left scrambling in a WTF moment thinking that I'd inadvertently pressed a wrong button or corrupted something unintentionally.
4. After my show and researching what was going on did I only learn of the "change" in the new releases.
5. No warnings for me. Completely surprised and caught off guard.
Now, if I may, I'd like to offer up an idea to handle this more gracefully:
1. After the upgrade to a "watermarked" version, a splash dialog box saying something to the matter of: "NOTICE - You are running a Home version of this software. A random "VirtualDJ" audio clip will be played during your mixing session. This will begin on the next session when you restart the software" This warning dialog requires the user to acknowledge what is happening and gives them one chance to register before inadvertently playing the watermark.
2. This simple dialog would save those from an embarrassment while playing live, and give them a last chance to register the software.
"It's not about the rationale, it is really about the delivery/notification"

Agreed that this could have been preceeded with a warning on update (probably a warning that displays on start everytime with an option to not show it again (on the user to remember at that point).
