Hi.
I'm playing around with the video settings and I want to try and have the master video in a corner while having a shader in the background and my camera output in another corner. I can adjust the positioning of the camera and the shader by using the cogwheel, but I can't seem to find how to adjust the positioning for the master video, which is where I play mp4 music videos.
Any help?

master video is all video, the only way to position that is with a video skin.

Can you elaborate? Are you saying there's a specific skin that I have to download to change the positioning of the master video? If so, what is it?

There is no specific skin, you can't directly place/size a <video> element with script, you have to hard code it within the video skin xml, it's kind of like html so it's not that difficult to pick up
If you want to learn, download some video skins and look at the xml while picking over https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Skin%20SDK, then ask on the skinning forum for help.
