Topic: Program That Cuts MP3's

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi Guys.
Dose anyone know of a program that cut an Mp3 or wav into more than one.?
eg. A 45 min track into 15 seperate tracks.
I know that VDJ now has that feature, but I have a old mix I would like to cut.

Please Help

Nero's wave editor too. If you don't want to permanently break the mp3 up, you can just load the mp3 track, and then edit (in nero) where you want changes in tracks and how many tracks you want.

Can try Cooledit too

Thanks Guys your info was a great help

Use Nero if you want to burn it to CD,

Otherwise Mixmeister pro 4 is perfect. Easy to use and extremely powerful

i have virtual dj since the ending of 2004 it is very good, but some times i have problems with some files the virtual dj can not load in the player so i can not see the bpm , i can not see the song map , i can not see when i can mix them. I had try with some tools like audacity or mp3 doctor , but nothing works
and these are files i had form before very hard to find them about the old disco music ( for example viola wills-if you can read my mind) ,can you help me please , i will do anything to keep them.
Many thanks. Raul

This is a little bug some users have in version 2.06, and only this version.
This will be corrected shortly

As I posted in another thread, I managed to fix that problem on my version of VDJ by doing the following: Settings > General > Max Load > Always

I think that bug only effects MP3s encoded in VBR.
