Was using my wifes laptop recently as a back up and its a bit older its a Lenovo Flex 2-15 i5 processor with Windows 10 Pro. so i've disabled stems 2.0 etc.. on it however I had something occur i've never had happen before the audio did something that seemed so bad it was playing music and all of a sudden vdj froze / make this abrupt scamble like noise and then the audio signal just died all together. Using my backup controller Denon MC6000 i started to trouble shoot, I replaced the usb cable from the controller to laptop just incase, I made sure drivers were all up to date and firmware which they were. Has anyone had an experience where the sound in VDJ 2023 just stops for a split second then continues playing? Its random and not consistant. Any help would be appreciated.

I have this same issue, and I'm running the latest software, on a the latest Razer gaming laptop, so shouldn't be a performance issue with the system

What is "the system"?
Are you only using the laptop and nothing else, or are you using a controller?
If so, which one, and assuming it uses ASIO, what is your buffer size set to?

I have had the same issue with my mix stream pro plus controller. I have tried everything and just at random times music pauses for 5secs and then starts again. It will do this 3-4 times then be good but on next boot up same thing.

Use wasapi drivers instead of asio drivers and your problem will be solved. Go to the settings section of Virtual dj, you can change the settings from the audio tab.

I have had issues with audio stopping and/or cutting out before. I believe my issue was related to the USB cable I was using.
