I've been looking at the Traktor Kontrol S8 setup for VDJ and wondering if this could be done:
Use the Remix Decks volumes for controlling the stems?
I'm aware that by default that section uses the sampler, but I was thinking if I could use those faders for stems, I could re-mix stem track volume levels.
I'll be honest, I don't really know much about the VDJ Script past really basic functions, should I not attempt it, if it is possible?
Or is there a piece of similar code I could use?

You can do that now, with controllers that have EQ knobs (which is most of them). Atomix gave VDJ that ability over two years ago.

Sure you can remap the 4 Vertical sliders and use the stem action.
Try ..
param_multiply 0.5 & stem 'Vocal'
param_multiply 0.5 & stem 'Instru'
param_multiply 0.5 & stem 'Bass'
param_multiply 0.5 & stem 'Rhythm'

Brilliant! I'm going to track this device down, as I believe this could be the ultimate VDJ machine, for me.
