Posting here is kind of a long shot, but figured I'd give it a try.
Like many VDJ users, I've customized most of the buttons on my controller so that they no longer perform the stock function.
I am designing a custom skin for my controller that will take care of the printed text and reflect each button's new function, but there are several buttons that have words printed on them that the LED's shine through.
I'd like to get custom replacements for these buttons printed, I just have no idea where to look for someone who can do short-run manufacturing of such an obscure item. Anyone know a place that'll do something like this?
As I'm typing this I had the thought that maybe replacement buttons could be 3d printed, but painting them with such fine text details is going to be challenging. Also, I wonder about the material, the stock buttons have a soft rubbery feel rather than hard plastic.
Any suggestions are appreciated! Cheers!

The only thing I can think of is to make a silkscreen cover with your own printed words next to the buttons, not printing the buttons themselves.
Something like Styleflip and other similar services.

I have used styleflip in the past for my Denon MC-6000 (back in 2013 I think) and I was very happy with the result.
One plus point is that if you ever want to sell your controller you can remove the sticker / overlay and everything goes back to normal (VS restoring buttons and stuff)

I thought of that, maybe even using a Cricut to cut out black vinyl to stick to the button. The problem is that you need "blank" buttons to let the LEDs shine through or you're going to get uneven results.
Then again if I had blank buttons I could probably use sublimation printing on them.
Thanks for the reply. Cheers.
