Topic: Stems on 4 decks / layers

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there any way to have stems on 4 decks / layers?

I'm using a couple of Denon SC5000M's and an X1800 and would love to use stems on all 4 decks.

Thank you for your help.

VirtualDJ is capable to run stems on 4 decks.
However, in order to be able to better control them you'll need a supplementary/auxiliary controller with a lot of knobs.

Thank you for that.

I'm fairly new to DJing, which auxiliary controller would I need?

I would recommend a MIDI Fighter Twister : https://www.midifighter.com/#Twister

While there is not an offical mapping for the Midi Fighter Twister (MFT), I have written and submitted one that you can download and install from the VDJ site.
