Hello, Serato DJ has a function that changes the track color of a song when I change the eq values High, Mid, Low. It was very helpful, looking at the colors of the sound track, I was able to see what frequencies were too strong. Does Virtual DJ have this option?

Not currently...
Something similar on the stems (shape) waveform if using stems, were if you adjust vocals, melody or beats, the waveform will ghost out to gray as you remove the element of the song...
For "traditional" waveforms, only gain is currently taken into account as dynamically changing the waveform

Thanks for the answer. I also noticed that the UV METER on my Mixars PRIMO works very differently from working with Serato.
The UV Meter in Virtual DJ on my DJ controller shows the clipping for high and low signals. In serato UV, the METER was more generalized. Is there a parameter change displayed in the Virtual DJ options? UV METER?

change the mapping
VU METER
from
get_level
to
get_vu_meter
lights will then indicate post fader, if desired you could have deck vu be pre fader and master be post [with a script tweak]

Thanks for the answers. And the last question:
Can I use a DJ controller. to start pre-listening to a track from this player? I would like to do a start stop from the controller not to use the mouse.

Unfortunately, SHIFT + Play / pause button does not start the player that is in the link. Immediately I get a song on the deck :(

probably best we see the screen shot for your SHIFT_PLAY_PAUSE mapping, no disrespect but I've been doing this kind of thing for 7 years, I might be wrong but all I can do to check your end is ask for the screenshot.

I am sending you the screenshot you wrote about :)

The mapped function is not 'prelisten' as expected :
you need to replace existing 'play_stutter' with 'prelisten'

I have seen settings that I thought would apply similar results. Waves that are meant to have colour representation of frequency.
My problem is that there is no master key, stems seem to have different colours depending on if it's a remote skin or effect or pad set up. And the colours for waves, change and don't seem to have any permanent assigned reference. I have worked out a system that is universal, so that any feature such as scratch bank, hatches, remix points, stems etc all have a colour system that can evolve.
eg, say bass has a colour assigned and beats has another, the combined stems I think is called rhythm, so say bass is yellow and beats blue, rhythm would be green.
So say you have your hot cues, I have colours assigned that show me if a beat drop is just beats, or it could be a baseline drop, or it could be a drop with beats and bass. Now say it's beats and vocals, I have it so that the combined colour shows me.
Problem is I had a system, and then I saw the stems assigned colours, so I scrapped it and started to rework what I thought were the default colours, I put alot of time in, and then noticed a whole different combination.
I also noticed the labelling of melody , rhythm etc, and scratch banks got added. So I am in the middle of reassigning colours and trying to work out all the needed possibilities, because if i assign a colour that doesn't mix well with another sound, then I can't create the colour needed tom represent that sound combination.
I was thinking to use tones, say for vocals, singing, rapping, speaking etc, so that could be based on red and go from dark red to pink. I also started to think if I should use light for high frequencies, and make colours darker as frequency drops, so an instrument, could be represented by colour but the shade could show what frequency it is.
I'm still trying to finalise the colour key, and I have had to upgrade certain controllers as not all have rob less, so it's been a steep learning curve, but when done it will have great benefits, and will work throughout the software and all it's features. Has anyone worked this out yet because every time I think I've cracked it, I see something that doesn't work, and the other problem is using colours that are easily identifiable, because rob pads have alot of variation, but having several shades when there is slight differences is one thing but simplicity works better, the whole point is to save time and not need to keep changing settings to identify cues etc
