Topic: external Drumpattern or drummachine in sync with VDJ?
Wouldn't it be cool if a groove plugin or drummer could run in sync with the VDJ tracks?
Someone here has successfully integrated a drum machine:

Does anyone have experience with other vst drum plugins as a master effect?

Its just a VST effect..
VirtualDJ works with a whole range of VST audio effects, as well as VST instruments

And if you prefer separate apps, or even hardware, often supports Ableton Link that can send sync.
(or midi clock)

Great! I have a mighty Drummachine standing around in the stable and pawing with the hooves.
It´s Steinbergs Groove Agent, but seems to be incompatible although 64bit...
How to...?

One from the link above, just a quick test run for some cheesy drum fun ... ;-)
Was a bit "different" showing a full "real life" drum set ..hehe

You are so great! Thank You! Will trie it tomorrow (need a cap full of sleep)
Will write the results here...

You can try far more advanced one that the "drum kit" above ;-) was more for fun.. Although it has patterns, and composer for multi patterns, so its more powerful than the "real life" drum kit might make it appear as..

Other VST drum kits, drum sequencers etc are often more modern looking and "audio effect" looking.
But yeah, play around and test .. ;-)

(just woke up again ;-)
If I wanna use a Stand alone-Drumsoftware: How do I get a midiclock out of VDJ into the other softwares Midi input?
For external Machines i guess it´s rightclick on the controller and "send midiclock"
But how about an internal Midiclock-send?
E.g.: I have Cubase running and there is a midi input waiting for a clock-signal.
How VDJ brings it´s clock out to Cubases Midi-In?

When I put the vst on the Master Audio, then I can't hear the decks anymore? What am I doing wrong?
