hello vdj users,
is this possible to give a value of a var in the name of a custom pad. I try the simple "var '$x' "or "get_var '$X'" but it doesn't work, somebody to help me?

Try this:
name="`get_var '$MyVar'`"
Or on pad editor type this as the name:
`get_var '$MyVar'`
Make sure that you include the "tick" symbol (reverse apostrophe)
name="`get_var '$MyVar'`"
