hi guys been a while, hope you are all good. anyway i've just bought a quick dmx dongle and want to control it via the osl feature if possible, i'm installing the quick dmx on a windows tablet, and vdj on my macbook pro (i want to try keep both seperate) is this possible either by wifi or a network connection?

OS2L uses network zero-config discovery, so should work fine on same network. (wifi, etc).
As long as the DMX software supports 0S2L

i'm using quick dmx/show express which does support osl2l according to their website.

Should work then yes... :) if not getting any connection, you might have to install a zero-config network protocol.
Most common is the Bonjour (comes with iTunes, pre-installed on mac, and for Windows you can install from here: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL999 )
(but your DMX software might already have installed such on your computer)

I have just tested and Showxpress receives the signal fine on Windows.
