Topic: new version: VirtualDJ 2018, now available in Early Access - Page: 2

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

Simple really, if you don't have a machine to test then wait till its out of early release.

You can rename the virtualdj.exe file before you install the new one to have them side by side
If you are on windows the most common path to the file is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VirtualDJ\virtualdj8.exe
If you are on mac I think it's something similar ( I don't own a mac)

If i go the windows route i see the virtual dj 8 icon and it says it is an application, is this the .exe file ?

Ok, I thought I found how to close it once, but now can't get it to close even by closing the effects settings window.

So I have a question about the new update how to turn off the songs titles and loopo on screen on the new update? Is these possible?

Thank you Atomix for everything. Question: what hardware is compatible with the new dmx control. Can I use my showxpress box with the sunlight suite? Thank you.

I doubt it very much. If Nicolaudie let you download the software free, but the dongle+software package is over $500 then they obviously want to sell you the dongle. If it worked with other dongles, nobody would buy their one.
