I’m using VirtualDj 8.2 (Pro)
I'm sorry, I'm new at this and attempting to fit in the Virtual DJ world; but to answer your question, My settings look like this,

but I am confused when it asks for Server URL, am I supposed to get a SHOUTCAST account, and us its URL along with the password to that SHOUTCAST account? I attempted to do as such and still get the error message. I've attempted to review all updated "Credible Youtube videos, along with viewing the Virtual DJ manual and nothing has helped. As stated, I am new at this and I am sure I'm missing something and doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated.

You basically need the url, port & password from a shoutcast/icecast stream provider.
You can rent these from loads of places and I am sure you shall find that easily enough.
Which I am sure you said you had done in the past?

As an example, if your shoutcast provider gives you something like http:shoutcastname.blahblah.com:8080 and a password

So in VDJ:
in the URL field you would put: http:shoutcastname.blahblah.com
in the port field you would put: 8080
and.... type the password into the password field.

You should be good to go as long as your firewall doesn't block your outgoing port.

Also, some shoutcast providers may give you two passwords, one for your stream and one for admin login.
Don't use the admin one in VDJ. That password is only for logging into the stream's admin settings. (website)

Hope some of that helps as well as the link which wildcountryclub posted above.

Let us know how you get on :)

Thank you, and sorry for the delay. I haven't been using this software in a while been trying others. However, Virtual DJ appears to be the best. I was just testing the waters.
