That 505 might be my next controller.....

I wonder why companies always leave out DVS on the small controllers but add it to big controllers.

The 505 is DVS ready.

I read somewhere that the 505 is unlocked, it doesn't have weird none-standard screens, and VDJ "learned" how to sequence with the 808
So it may be a simple(ish) task to map for the hardware team *being hopeful*

The more I look at the 505 the more I'm liking it. Probably ditch the MC4000 for it when it's released.

I hope next year or sooner, they will have an SZ size for the 808. Call it DJ-909, maybe...
Or something like TORAIZ-SP16 that has the same MIDI capabilities and implementation when used with TTs or CDJs.

For now... I will stick with the 808.

It's also worth mentioning the GOOD NEWS that... Roland decided NOT TO go with the mirror layout anymore (it took me a week or two to get adjusted when I had my 808).
Not a big deal for others, but definitely very crucial for some.

I hate the mirror setup also. I can use, but it has to have a lot of other benefits.

Someone please help me set up my Roland DJ 808 with VDJ 8 the audio does not play out of the headphones when I'm trying to cue up record on other deck and it seems all the audio playing on the master output is playing with a flange
