Early Christmas present...

I just heard officially last night that the club ordered a set of Rane 72 + 12s for permanent install.

Wow...
How many of the visiting DJs do you think will actually use them?
I think it will seem foreign for both turntable DJs and CDJ DJs
A bit like if a club had installed denon sc3900s a few years back

The permanent install is for us, the resident DJs (and for guest DJs who won't mind them).

They just rent whatever the guest DJs ask for in the past anyway, so that won't change I believe.

New Rane 72 is the king of the mixers ,I think it's better than pioneer djm s9

I am not sold......

I assume it improves latency as there would no longer be a process for converting analogue audio to a timecode. The encoders from the twelve can send this data direct to the mixer which eliminates the process and improving overall latency.

Better latency is always welcome.

Ok man Rane twelve is new product I don't know about that but I'm sure the 72 is the king of the mixers!

Im getting all the connections now...InMusic owns denon remember the DNS3700 and 3900. Numark (cdx and mdx). ANd they own Akai and Alesis they also own Air the virtual instruments and effects creators.
Numark isnt releasing new products. (upgrades but no new designs)
Denon stepped away from motorized jog wheels.
Then use sound technologies from Alesis. Just being able to cross engineer products.
These inmusic people have the game on lock
Just having rights to those technologies. Hopefully it can only get better.

toast to technology!!! for a while i thought they forgot about us djs
