Topic: How can I go back to a previous Build on V DJ 8.2 ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello people :-)

I want to go back to a previous build where I was satisfied with the sound quality with the equipment I am using on V DJ 8.2,

(Hercules RMX 2 and Novation Audiohub 2x4)

how can I do this ?

is there a page where I can see all the builds and choose ?

You may also want to check here as there was an update of firmware and/or drivers.

A Man and His Music :-)

Thanks,

so far this year, I've been using the Novation Audiohub Audio Interface,

but a friend of mine still uses Hercules RMX2, they both have a good quality sound card built in,

We have both noticed the same issue, the High Levels are to high again, this didn't occur when 8.2 first came out, the sound was amazing and properly balanced, that is why I wanted to go a few builds back.

Problem ...!

Sorry to bother you again,

but there is a serious Latency issue with 8.2 !!!

I've been using V DJ 8.2 Since the start of September, I liked it's Balanced Sound Quality, but with the latest updates, the High Levels are Screaming through my Speakers, and the Mid Range isn't so clear anymore.

I went back to try out previous builds that I've used before, to discover that there are Serious Latency Issues with Builds 3398 and 3409 !!!

The Waveforms and Sound don't Agree-Match. There are Large Latency differences, 5 sec and more.

This never happened when I first used them.

I checked everything and couldn't find the solution to this problem.

Once I returned to the Latest Build-Update, Problem Solved !!!

Is there a Build that I can return to where Hercules RMX2 and Novation Audiohub can have decent Sound Quality without these issues ???

I don't see why sound quality would be worse in 8.2, so try 3523 and perhaps rename settings.xml to try if some incorrect settings are perhaps the cause of your sound problems.

Hello Adion :-)

I will write the problem in detail in the Technical Support so you can have a clear Image on what the issue is with the sound Quality ...
