Topic: How to link VDJScript commands to a controller knob in version 8.2?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

If I recall it well, in the former version of the software (v8.1) it was possible to adjust the controller mapping by aid of a 'learn' button. Now it doesn't make any sense to me anymore. I am an absolute rookie when it comes to VDJ Script but before version 8.2 I was able to make my own custom mappings to adjust my s4 mkII to my likings. Now I screwed up my whole mapping :-(
Does anybody know if there is educational material available, explaining how to deal with the new controller mapping software?

The midi programming hasn't changed from 8.1 to 8.2, in any case though you can hit up youtube for some tutorials.
 
Some script did change between 7&8 check the wiki , under help,

Action learn is still available in the mapping window
