I have just bought a new laptop and a new controller {Dennon MC4000} and I am not sure where the folders for firmware should be on my laptop so as VDJ8 can read the firmware and history etc. on my old laptop it was all in my documents but I am not sure of which folder I should download Firmware from Denon into any help would be fantastic.

When you download the firmware updater, it will install to your computer. Then, run the updater and use the newest file you downloaded from wherever you put it. After the firmware is updated, you can delete the download. Probably should keep the updater though.
