You will have to edit them and change the path (location info of each file).
E.G. Your internal drive was presumably C: so the existing paths would be something like C:\Music\My Favourites\Engelbert Humperdinck\Release Me.mp3 and you'd need to change at least the drive letter to whichever letter your external drive is using. This assumes you've kept everything else the same (folder names etc).
