I had to install a new hard drive to my MAC Book Pro 15". Consequently, I installed the OS EL CAPITAN. I downloaded a brand new VDJ 8 for which I bought the PRO License. I have two problems: (1) I use to project the karaoke videos (lyrics) in an external PC monitor (nor a TV). In the old OS (Yosemite), I could project the lyrics in an external monitor while continue working in my MAC screen with the decks, songs, playlists, etc. NOW, with EL CAPITAN, the karaoke video is projected in a very little window at the external PC Monitor. It just occupy 1/8 of the screen and almost can't be seen. Previously the karaoke video took the FULL external monitor screen. I tried looking DISPLAY settings, and VDJ 8-Options/Video settings, noting nothing unusual. The external monitor is not the problem because when I connect it to a Windows 10 laptop, the karaoke lyrics video takes the FULL screen of the monitor, while the laptop screen is running at VDJ 8 to continue working. So neither the monitor nor its settings are causing this problem. The lyrics is not readable because it is too small now. (2) Since I installed EL CAPITAN, I do not received the " updates" messages of VDJ8 when I open it. However, the messages continue appearing at my W10 laptop. I placed a support ticket for this and the answer was to delete some VDJ files including license.dat file, and some Cache file. But the problem continues. Then I uninstalled the VDJ 8 and downloaded a fresh program, but the update messages still not appearing. Can somebody help me in these issues? All that I see in this Forum is that El Capitan is fully compatible, but for me something goes wrong with it. Thanks.

I solved the first (1) issue. Just a right click over the Video screen in and select " 2 Display", The UPDATES issue still unsolved.

Well if you installed the "brand new" VDJ 8 then perhaps you're not seeing an updates message because there are no updates i.e. you have the latest version.
