Topic: has anyone used PLATINUM NOTES? NEED HELP!

HI, My gains and volume are all voer the place, even with my settings on AUTO GAIN, the nids (vocals) seem too low, too for some reason and the output not that loud. here are my settings:
have you used Platinum notes? can it mess up my music files, in that I have a big gig tmrw, should I wait, or can it fix right away? can it potentially mess things up for me, too? thanks!

platinum notes makes a new file so save the old file and compare to the new if you don't like it, don't use it :-)

I like the way it works so for me it is great.. you will still need to set zerodb to -3 or -6 and set autogain to auto to get good results.

thanks, if i download it and use it now, will it effect anything i have already in a bad way enough that it could mess up settings i have, and i will be messed up for tmrw? thanks
 
it creates new files is does not adjust any settings in your programs

so it should not effect anything with virtualDJ
 
I don't know, maybe I'm crazy but I never try anything new, when I have a gig the next day. As a matter of fact, I need several days to test anything new, and I would not do anything to change my files. That's just me.
 
I completely agree with AMAHM.
You are asking for trouble. In addition, it sounds like your trying to do this to fix another issues for which you don't know the root cause. As a 9-5 engineer, my advice is that t is not wise to add variables to an unsolved equation.
I suggest trying to find the reason that your volumes are all over the place, etc. rather than trying to mask it.
Good luck with your troubleshooting and your gig though, and let us know how everything goes.
