I don't know what version your using but HP/LP filter is built into VDJ, lol!!

What version do you use ? Both VirtualDj 7 & 8 have a built in filter. If you use VirtualDj 8 just use one of the custom knobs on the default skin to map it. It's just "filter" (without the quotes)
Also a lot of skins have filter present on the mixer area.

I know the 'filter' knob i'm not stupid. But it sounds different that in Serato DJ.

Just compare the HPF&LPF from Serato Dj ith the 'filter' from Virtual DJ and you will see the differences. Also I'm not sure that the HPF&LPF Knob from mixtrack pro 3 will work on Virtual dj(maybe also mapped with 'filter')

For VirtualDj 8 you can change the resonance of the filter in the settings. Other than that each software & hardware has it's own sound. Serato, VirtualDj, Traktor, Pioneer, Rane, Allen & Heath all sound different when applying filter.
PS: The filter knob in Mixtrack is not hardware. It just sends MIDI messages and controls the filter of the software
