Stem packs might be where it's at, I somehow imported a free one from Traktor, it consisted of a lot of samples, maybe too many. I might have deleted it now, but I remember thinking that it did not sound too good. Maybe a good stem pack would have had me full of praise.
We have our own individual styles, so maybe that pack did not suit my style.

I think we should make our own sample packs.
That would mean they would be tailored to the individual DJ, and the VDJ sampler.
We don't need that many packs to give us a unique sound.

If they teach something worthwhile would a Catholic School be so bad?
I like learning.

Things are going well, I've downloaded Ubuntu Studio 14 LTS, and then using the Hydrogen drum machine created my first sample set. It's not as good as the Atomix instruments set, but its a start. Also using Win7, and Ableton I have created some beats to use as samples.
These things will integrate into VDJ8 well.
VirtualDJ, and Ableton work well together!

I can see this leading to the creation of a song in the not to distant future.
Ubuntu Studio, and Linux offers loads of possibilities to supplement my already capable Win7 software.
Time is my enemy.

This post is from my nice new, and clean Linux operating system.

I've got to say that since I starting to post here almost every part of my DJ skill set has improved.

Remember that the Hydrogen Drum Machine is free software, runs on windows, and it can make sample sets for VDJ8.

It's easy!
If you get stuck, I'll help.

Use the Atomix Instrument set as a guide.
