Hi I have just sold my Pioneer XDJ R1 on eBay, do i need to remove the licence from Virtual DJ so the new owner register and install?

A licence is non-transferable. So you are not able to unregister it. The new owner of the controller will have to buy it's own licence.
However, if the le version is on CD, he can still install and use this version. But he won't get updates because he can't register the LE version.

Surely, the new owner will be able to install the LE edition that comes free with the controller? Why should he have to pay? I dont want to use it anymore
