Topic: Karaoke Lyrics chopped on both sides

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've been forced to go back to using virtualdj 7 because with the most recent update the lyrics are on chopped on both sides when viewing kararoke on external screen. I dj karaoke 4 days a week and this is really inconvienient....please help thanks

You could always have just gone back to an older v8 build ;)

This issue will be fixed in the next v8 build.

Thanks but when i downloaded the previous version and installed it I couldn't get any audio with the same settings I had before. The song would play but no sound or signal bars on virtualdj...weird. Any other solution?
 
I think I've had this before, I need my laptop out, but there are video settings like like crop, and zoom if I remember right.
Look in the VDJ options, and also windows graphics card options, along with the monitor settings.
Even just try a different monitor.
Given what I've said you could also check the position of the moon! lol
 
OK i've got my laptop out.
Go to VDJ8 options. Tick show advanced options box. Go to video. Try altering the letterBoxing option. You have three choices bars, crop, and zoom.

I would have thought your sound problem was audio configuration.
 
 
The above is still a good plan. I'm intrigued, but not quite enough to simulate the problem.
I haven't seen this problem in the form of a bug.
