How to assign different effects to the different pads?

I have chosen to use OVERLOOP as my first effect. And it works

But when I tried effect_active 2 for a different pad it keeps using the BACKSPIN effect. So i have only been able to map one effect successfully.
And the same for an effect_active 3
It switches to the BREAK effect.
Scripts, anyone?

Just tested here:

effect_active 2 "Beat Grid"

Worked fine for me :)
 
I bought used idj3 but no software where can i get one

Effectively mapped an effect for a second pad. but instead of mapping the reverb effect, it mapped the backspin. Not the desired effect I was looking for.
 
Please give the exact mapping you used. I tested the mapping I provided above before posting and it worked fine.
 
Effectively mapped pad 1 and pad 2 with the correct script you provided. Thank you.
I finally got a 3rd pad to work, it wasn't registering for a second but it took.
had to go to work so i didnt get a chance to close out the program and see if itd work continuously . I will see if its still working correctly when I get back.
And finally the effect for a 4th effect command just would not stick. I was thinking there might be a limited amount of effects I would be able to script?
