What type of wireless mic are you using (make and model)?

Hi,
It's always good to get the reciever mounted as high as possible, radio waves don't travel through people very well.
I use a system from line 6
Line6 XD-V55HS and a Line6 TX55 Handheld
I can use either the headset or the handeld on one receiver, it works pretty well.

For starters you need to make sure you are using a diversity wireless microphone system. They usually use two antennas and two receiver channels.
When people (bodies) or stray RF-signals obstruct or interfere with communications between the microphone and the receiver, a diversity system makes sure the best signal goes to your master output within nano-nano-nano-seconds.
I'm a wedding DJ. Anytime I start shopping for wireless mikes I look for the magic word= Diveristy

Thanks-- would have helped my credibility if I spelled Diversity correctly at the end. ;)

Wireless mics are the only area where I believe, you get what you pay for. Shure has never let me down in this department. But, I don't buy their low end models. I have had great luck with their PGX series. It's their mid level system.
