Topic: Version 8, 4 Deck Mode

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I would like to see if anyone has a solution regarding the MC6000 MK1 and 4 deck mode in Version 8. In version 7 no issue was able to figure it out. Can not seem to lick this one.... I am trying to use either the DN-MC6000 Pro or 4 Deck Default sKins. I have gotten 2 deck mode to work with a minor issue. I have not been able to get the 4 deck mode to work yet.

What exactly doesn't work?

You do realise that the MC6000 has to be in controller mode to use all four mixer channels?

I used the same settings like version 7 and I do not get anything out of the MC6000 cept for extremely low volume. Nothing at all works....

It should configure automatically in V8

Nope....

Please specify which settings you're using - both in VDJ 8 and on the MC6000 itself.

MC6000:
PC Mix
PC Switched on
All 4 Channels

VDJ 8

BTW I have tried a few more things and I finally got audio just fine but no gain control.... I can not lower the tracks gain if I would like to.....

OK.......and in the Controllers section?

Is the MC6000 listed there? Are you using the native mapping?

MC6000 Is Listed and the Mapper I am using is Denon DN-MC6000 by Zacek100, V8.0

Have you checked if the filter is active? EFX4 knob and button on the default mapping. I'd recommend you get up and running with the factory mapping before going off to a custom mapper.
