Monster is bringing us a new and ultra-portable DJ system called GO-DJ. The GO-DJ device has a built in mixer, storage for music, dual screens for deck controls, and an audio interface for speakers and headphones. This compact unit is only a bit larger than most cell phones and has lots of functions that DJ's can use to play at a small gig or in the comforts of their own home. Check out the quick introduction video below to see what the GO-DJ is all about.

The Monster GO-DJ is now available for $599 and additional information can be obtained from the Monster DJ website. We'll be sure to get a review unit to let you know how the system works in the DJbooth. Stay tuned...

The DJ Redefined: Introducing the Monster® GO-DJ™
—DJ to Go: Portable, Light, Full Featured—

Brisbane, Calif., November 20, 2013 – Monster, the world leader in high-performance personal audio, connectivity and power, is set to redefine DJing and Music Production with the release of its stand-alone, portable DJ rig and music production studio—The Monster® GO-DJ™. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the Monster® GO-DJ™ enables DJs and Producers—amateur and pro—to perform, write, record, produce, remix and DJ anywhere they are.

Head Monster Noel Lee stated: “The Monster® GO-DJ™ is a game changer. The Monster® GO-DJ™ takes the DJ out of the booth, takes producers and musicians out of the studio, and allows them to make music anywhere they are. The performing DJ will never be the same again.”

Swizz Beatz noted: “It’s showtime!”

It’s Showtime!
The Monster® GO-DJ™ allows the DJ to step out from behind the console onto center stage, solo, and engage with the audience like never before. DJs can go to jam sessions with other DJs, whip out their Monster® GO-DJ™ and music, and just plug in.

Powered by Monster™

Eliminate the controller. Eliminate the laptop. Eliminate the turntables. Put them all in your pocket. The Monster®GO-DJ™ features dual touch-panel LCD screens, hardware knobs, a crossfader, and a line-in 1/8” headphone jack that can be used with almost any audio source. The device, which has easy and advanced modes, has BPM auto sync capability, seven special effects, 24 default sample sounds, and a 16-beat step sequencer. The Monster®GO-DJ™’s three-band equalizer controls the high, mid, and low ranges; and users can toggle between the touchscreen, hardware knobs, and/or the hardware crossfader.

The Monster® GO-DJ™ touchscreen user interface features turntables and musical pads so DJs and producers can scratch and loop music and create drum beats and samples from its hard drive, SD card or streamed from other devices. Its 16-Beat Routine Composer/Step Sequencer features a BPM controller, editable preset rhythmic patterns (4 pattern/sequencer), and user/custom rhythmic patterns (4 patterns/sequencer).

The Monster® GO-DJ™ comes with 2GB of internal memory and available SD memory cards; users can always carry music with them. Capture performances on the internal recorder and share them. The Monster® GO-DJ™ is exclusively available on www.monstergodj.com for $599.95.

I don't see the point with them coming out with small controllers like this. They are Crazy asking $600 for a Toy That came out of a Box of corn Flakes. You are better off getting a Pioneer DDj SR and you still have some money left over.

no pitch blend buttons. useless

How ironic. That controller is smaller than the cables they sell.....

I wouldn't be surprised if the Monster stand was sold separate for 49 dollars.

It's not the controller. It has it's own software inside.

Looks like a nice backup...but 600 seems overpriced.

ok so the next wave is here programming on board a controller. If I wanted to go that way (damn my old eyes) I would go with the Stanton scs 4dj only downside to these are they make them so small try DJing on a 4.3 inch display showing 20 lines of text.

liked the Stanton at dj expo if was gonna buy something like this would only use it as a rehearsal set and would save some money going with the Stanton over this

just MHO

keep the beat

Cute, but for that kind of money you could buy a basic laptop and a Numark DJ 2 Go, and have a far more flexible setup.

Looks ok for a very entry level beginner or home use. I would feel like the butt of all jokes at the party pulling that out. At the same time using it is the real test. I would try it but it seems to be missing a lot compared to other "dj to go" products. As for the $600, what else would you expect from monster the company with more patients in research than any other cable producing manufacture.

Requires small hands...

From Monsters Website.

The face of this guy is priceless. :)

I will caption this.

Life of the party:

Yeah Right!
