Topic: Pioneer DDJ-SX headphone cueing problem

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just purchased a pioneer DDJ-sx and virtual dj 7.4. I heard it was native to the program now so I just plugged and everything worked fine except for the headphone cueing. All volume sliders and knobs work fine i just can't get the cued track to be sent to my heaphones. When the master/cue knob is turned all the way left to "Cue", instead i heard the master channel. when its turned to the right "Master", i hear nothing. pressing the cue button also only lights up the cue button and doesn't do anything else. all the cue buttons can also be lit up at once... I did not modify the mapping or anything. Please help me out!

my settings are:

Imput: none
Output: front(master)/back(headphones)
soundcard: 4.1 card (Pioneer DDJ-SX)

Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DDJ-SX.html

NOTE: The native mapping is designed for use with a 4 deck skin. If you are using it with a 2 deck skin, you may get issues due to decks 3&4 wrapping back around to 1&2. If this is the case, you can install the updated mapping on the above page.
