Just checking, I have never heard of an NS7 running a lower latency setting than mine. What the heck kind of machine are you running?

Livebook V2 from Rain. It was touted as the most powerful laptop on the market when it came out. Geekbenched at over 10,000 out of the box. I think it's been replaced by a model with a bigger processor and a larger screen now.
Rain makes computers for professionals, they don't just slap a big processor on a crap motherboard to make them look powerful. They match the whole setup and do extensive testing to make sure there isn't any bottlenecks in the system. When you get a Rain they are already optimized for the most part to handle any type of professional audio/video editing depending on the model. Mine was $2,500 when I got it 2 years ago. Their tech support is awesome too.

Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info! Wish I knew that a few years ago when I built the desktop that I travel with! Lol

I might use something else for a back up, but I'm stuck on rain for main laptop for now. I had some issues with a rack mount I bought from them, and had to send it back twice. The third time I had an issue the owner of the company called me and told me I could pick anything I wanted. I asked for the V2. He told me it wasn't supposed to be out for a few months. I said I could wait. They shipped me mine like two months before it was available. When the owner cares enough about his customers to call himself, that's a great company to deal with.
