Topic: Video DJs: What scan converter (PC to TV) do you use?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

For all you DJs who mix videos I wanted to ask what make and model of scan converter you use to get your video content from your computer via VDJ Pro to the TV screens in your club/venue. This is assuming your computer does not have a video card with composite or component video outputs.

I have an el cheapo scan converter I've been using but would like to upgrade to something better.

Extron DVS304, end of story.......

I use HDMI/DVI or VGA when possible.
When that is not an option I use a KWorld PC to TV converter (KW-PCTV-1600) I have 2 of them. They are inexpensive and have worked great.
I dont think they make this model anymore, that is why I bought a second one. It gives the full range of video output options. When I use it I am generally doing HD Component, but it also has composite and S-Video on it as well.
