I am struggling to add new songs to a playlist in Virtual DJ... this is a challenge for me, as playlists are everything. Say I have a playlist "Desert Dancing" and I want to add a few songs to it, I open up the Playlist from the Nav Bar on the left entitled "Playlists" and the songs in this playlist come up on the right side: Great! Now, if I navigate to any other folders in my Nav bar on the left, suddenly my playlist on the right changes to that new folder and - of course - I cannot add songs to that specific playlist (as it is no longer in view) nor can I drag those songs to the playlist on the left.
Can anyone shed some light here? This doesn't seem to work like other programs that I have typically created playlists with (iTunes, WinAmp, Spotify).
Thank you!

Put all the contents of the playlist to the auto mix area then add the song or songs you want to the list then save it again using the file name. You will then ask that the file already exist and it will be overwritten by the new playlist you jus t modified.

I get it, but doesn't that seem absurdly complicated? You have to type the exact name of the playlist to Save/Update it?? You have to load the whole playlist to add a track??

You could use virtual crates instead of playlists.
You can also disable the automatic changing of the playlist.

When you say "you can disable the automatic changing of the playlist" - do you mean by clicking that little lock so it stays open? If so, I do that, but still the playlist will change to whatever folder I select on the left, UNLESS I seem to add a song to the playlist, then somehow it knows that the playlist is meant to be edited. Is there a better way around this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Config - options - autoload playlists
Change it to disabled
Change it to disabled

Not sure if this will be a solution, but have you tried creating a virtual folder and then dragging the songs there? I use them instead of playlists. No need to resave anything.
